The Terraces at Bonita Springs announces the promotion of Amy English to the position of director of sales & marketing for the community. English had been a sales counselor there over the last three years, starting during the pre-opening sales phase.
In her new role, English is responsible for leading all sales and marketing efforts on behalf of The Terraces, and ensuring active seniors in Southwest Florida learn more about the continuing care retirement community.
English is no stranger to working with older adults; prior to working at The Terraces, she held sales and marketing positions within the field of senior living elsewhere in Florida.
“Amy has gained the respect and confidence of so many of our current residents at The Terraces that it became clear to me that naming her as director of sales & marketing was an obvious choice,” said Ross Dickmann, executive director of The Terraces. “She can connect with older adults and help them understand the benefits of living in a community like ours.”
In addition to her senior living background, English has held other sales positions in which she gained valuable experience in building relationships.
“It’s very rewarding to see older adults move to The Terraces, and realize how happy they are in their decision about moving to a community with a lifestyle that includes so many great services and amenities,” said English.
English earned her bachelor’s degree in human services from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.
