A delicious lunch wasn’t the only thing on the menu at a recent gathering at The Terraces at Bonita Springs. Guests were also treated to a light-hearted panel presentation from seven of the senior luxury community’s residents. Dr. Bernie Feldman, Judy Spletzer, Bob Urich, Carla Keogh, Joanne McCartney, Sheila Pedisich, and Marji Tronvold shared experiences and anecdotes about their daily lives at The Terraces.

While each panelist had his or her unique perspective, there were common themes among all including: “Everything is taken care of.” “Maintenance-free so we can enjoy the lifestyle.” “I wish we would have done this sooner.” “We have so many choices.” “There is so much to do, and it’s up to you to do as much or as little as you want.”

Favorite aspects pointed out were the multitude of activities and entertainment, the fabulous dining options, valet service, housekeeping with “freshly ironed sheets,” and the selection of beautiful apartments.

On a deeper level, the residents recognize the importance of having a rich and varied social life right outside their apartment doors – they reflected on how imperative relationships are to one’s health and well-being.

What’s more, they agreed that deciding on The Terraces has put them in control of their lives – protecting their children and families from the worry and responsibility.

One resident concluded: “We have the security of knowing everything is taken care of, and that we have planned well for our futures – plus, it’s really fun here.”
